Penn State Erie, The Behrend College provides a one-credit course titled Foundations of Post-Secondary Transition.  The course is designed for high school students who plan on transitioning to post-secondary training after high school. 

As part of the Promoting Academic Success (PAS) program, this eight-week course explores strategies and other important information specifically intended for high school students with learning differences as they prepare for college or other post-secondary options.

Some of the topics discussed include:

· Study Skills
· Learning Styles
· Disability Laws
· Assistive Technology
· Problem Solving/Decision Making

2012/13 Academic Year Sessions:

Fall 2012

September 13 through November 1

Spring 2013
January 31 through March 21

All sessions held 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
