 The center has also been awarded a STAR 4 designation based on accreditation by the KEYSTONE STARS program through the state of Pennsylvania.

The learning center is located in Knowledge Park at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. It offers high quality child care on a year-round basis. Services are available for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years. Developmentally-appropriate programs are provided on a full-time or part-time basis. Staff-to-child ratios exceed PA state-mandated ratios in each room. Children of Penn State Behrend students, alumni, faculty, staff and the greater Erie community are welcome.

The staff has been carefully chosen to provide a nurturing environment and the highest quality care.

With the exception of specified holidays, the center is open 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

DIRECTIONS TO THE PENN STATE CHILD CARE CENTER

If coming from Station Road (State Route 430):

1) Turn onto Jordan Road at Penn State Behrend main entrance and travel West for about 2 miles.
2) On your left, turn onto Knowledge Park Road.
3)  Turn right onto Merwin Lane, then turn right into the Child Care Center
