Senat Hall opened in the fall of 2004. It was intentionally designed to house the freshman interest groups. It boasts a suite-style room arrangement where there are either two or four students who share a bathroom, common area and bedroom(s). Students are clustered in suites and in wings by their FIG group. This allows students the opportunity to get to know a core group of students with interests similar to his or her own all in the comfort of their living environment.

Placement in Senat Hall is through invitation only through a lottery system. Students invited to participate in a Senat Hall FIG will receive information in the mail around May 15th.
