Safety - Emergency Telephone Locations

|
Across campus
there are a total of 47 emergency telephones
around parking lots and walk ways. They are easily identifiable by
their tall appearance and blue lights.
There are also 4 call box
style emergency phones: 2 are located in Erie Hall and 2 are
located in the Junker Center.
All emergency telephones, when
activated, are in direct contact with Police Services and should be used to report a criminal incidence,
fire, illness, suspicious person, or any other type of
emergency.
You can find emergency telephones in the following areas:

There are also emergency telephones at the main entrances of all residence
halls and vary in appearance.
Chances are
resident students have used them already as they also function
as a normal telephone to be admitted to a building by an
escort.
To activate an emergency call, these phones will have a
Red button
labeled "EMERGENCY" and will
put the caller in direct contact with Police Services.

All local pay telephones can be used to reach emergency services by
dialing 911: no coin is needed.
