The purpose of the University key system is to maintain the integrity and security of the buildings of The Pennsylvania State University and to protect the property and privacy of the University, and of individuals assigned to use University facilities, by limiting access to such facilities to assigned individuals and to their supervisors.

While security is a priority we also maintain a level of ease and convenience in our key program.

The key program is maintained by Police Services and Maintenance and Operations. Police Services is responsible to maintain key trail records, key issuance, and perform key audits of the University keys.
